Additional The Titan's Curse (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Book 3) Information

When Percy Jackson receives an urgent distress call from his friend Grover, he immediately prepares for battle. He knows he’ll need his powerful demigod allies, Annabeth and Thalia, at his side; his trusty bronze sword, Riptide; and . . . a ride from his mom.
The demigods race to the rescue, to find that Grover has made an important
discovery: two new powerful half-bloods whose parentage is unknown. But that’s not all that awaits them. The Titan lord, Kronos, has set up his most devious trap yet, and the young heroes have just fallen prey. Hilarious and action-packed, this third adventure in the series finds Percy faced with his most dangerous challenge so far: the chilling prophecy of the Titan’s curse.

What Customers Say About The Titan's Curse (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Book 3):

Percy and his dad had a talk and his father praised him (Some what). he didn't have much to do in this book except get thrown off a 50 foot cliff by Thalia and some other minor stuff. Considering that Nico is the son of Hades, and Percy really isn't on either of their good sides, I think that will stir up trouble in the next book. The problem was luke for me.

;-) The only bad part was that Thalia joined the hunters and we wont see mcuh of her anymore. And we meet some more gods, like Athena, Artemis, and Aphrodite. I won't spoil anything if your wondering. Something happened that I've been watiting for the whole series. I think it had enough action to keep the reader engaged through the entire book. I hope that since Nico de Angelo hates Percy because he didn't help his sister.

Hoped you enjoyed the review. I think overall it was a good book. I recommend this series to anyone who likes Greek Mythology and Fantasy books. I also thought that this book was good because he encounters Ares twice.

I absolutely love ancient mythology and it is nice to see it being incorporated for a new generation. I have found that this is a very enjoyable set of books. Reading these books will have kids wanting to know more.

Although my son is bright and can read just about anything, he could not read any book for more than 10 minutes without getting bored. I could not happier. Finally, a series that captured my son's attention. Now I have to limit his reading time so that he gets his homework done.

But Percy has other problems - his friend Annabeth as well as Artemis is missing and Percy has been having dreams that show they are in danger. The idea of setting the series in a world where mythological gods are real is a great one and Riordan continues to do a good job of comingling the mythological world with the real world by using mythological characters such as Poseidon, Artemis, Aphrodite, Apollo, Hermes, Atlas and more. Riordan also does a great job of using both real places like the Hoover Dam and mythological places like Mount Olympus. Riordan really hits his stride with this book and the Harry Potter similarities are largely gone as Riordan makes this series his own.

Since there are more books to come, "The Titan's Curse" ends with a cliffhanger that will leave readers wanting more."The Titan's Curse" is an imaginative, wonderfully done children's book. There are some intriguing twists and turns and surprises in the book that make it even more interesting. There is a wonderful sense of humor throughout the book, although it can be a bit juvenile at times (not surprising considering the intended audience). Grover has discovered two powerful half bloods and Percy and his friends immediately move to protect them. Soon they discover that Bianca and Nico di Angelo may not be all they seem. Percy is determined to be the one to help Annabeth but the gods may have other ideas."The Titan's Curse" is the third book in Rick Riordan's excellent children's series "Percy Jackson and the Olympians". Once again Percy and his friends have to go on a quest fraught with danger and Riordan creates just the right sense of adventure and danger without it being too scary (although there is death in this book).

Since the characters are aging as the series goes on, they are maturing and there is just the tiniest whiff of romance in the book that will no doubt grow in the rest of the series. When Percy Jackson receives a distress call from his friend Grover, he rushes to help, even though he needs a ride from his mother. A prophecy has declared that five people will go to help them but not all will return. Like the other books in the series, the book is written in the first person, narrated by Percy and it really does feel as if Percy is there in front of the reader telling his story.

LOVED THESE BOOKS.THIS BOOK SERIES COULD BE THE NEXT HARRY POTTER SERIES.I LOVED IT THAT MUCH.HOPEFULLY THESE WILL BE MADE INTO MOVIES ALSO.CANT WAIT TO READ THE LAST BOOK.I THINK THAT IF THESE BOOKS HAD BEEN MARKETED RIGHT THAT AS MANY KIDS WOULD BE READING THEM JUST LIKE THE HARRY POTTER SERIES///I HAD NO IDEA WHO RICK RIORDAN WAS UNTIL ONE DAY A CHILD THAT I WORKED WITH HAD ME READ THE SYNOPSIS OF THE BOOK.I REALLY THINK U HAVE A HIT HERE.
